Hi, do you think this frequenty is good with so much accords and tones?
A good start for a composition. Did you use chord pads?
Make it longer and bring in other instruments like brass etc and vary drum track to create interest.
Thanks, no i did not use chord pads, because i do not need them, but it is usefull anyway.
I double click the notes in a event.
This is indeed a demo to work on.
I do not use MIDI presets that are not progammed by myself.
I am drummer… i played blues, soul and rock for many years in the 90’s, just cover bands.
So in 1996 i started programming, how are you doing?
Nice to hear the programmed music here from other people, i started with Cubase 13 in March this year, so still a lot of work to do, but you know that is fun to.
Thanks for your advice.
I’m a guitarist and mostly for some time I have been composing for a while using a 32 note midi keyboard although I’m no pianist. I just add layers and a melody to come up with an arrangement that sounds good and add bass or lead as the inspiration takes me.
I did have a drum kit when I was a teenager but learnt guitar later in life but know what I like in a good drum track.
Me neader, i am drummer, but that is in Cubase were you start your way in music.
What do you think of this one?
This sounds like it was made from loops that just repeat over and over. Sorry but not really my thing. Try to add parts to change the feel and interest of a track so it’s not repeating over and over. Add different drums and fills, instruments etc.
I used a little know DAW called ntrack studio for many years and when I bought a Steinberg ur22c interface and got the Cubase AI software with it that got me interested and upgraded to Cubase Elements 11 which I’m quite happy with as it’s very stable and does 99% of what I need. When I look at upgrading and what extra useful things you get, to me it’s not worth it.
In Cubase many things are made by loops, offcourse that can be personal.
However, this are demo’s, because i was just starting in Cubase 13.
So how i gonna write the breaks and gonna change this parts, i am going to do that.
But i made a MP4, to put it here, more for the sounds it self.
Because my planning is to make drum and bass, but i was more trying out different sounds.
So you are rigth about that.
And if you use other software to, that is oké.
I just want a critical opinion, and offcourse the loops in the events are a copy about 8 or 16 measures.
I use this daw so i can change the music i am working on, i can let you hear more later, thanks for your advice.
I started when i was 9 years old with 2 sticks and a piece of multiplex with rubber on it.
