Sync cubase to a simple midi time code ???

Hi,

i don’t find any way to sync Cubase to the midi time clock/ midi beat code. My goal is to use an Eventide Pedal to sync the tempo live with the dawn.

Warning : It’s not about MTC there

Any clue ?

Even if you changed your original post: You were talking about “MIDI beat code” and “MIDI time code”.
And maybe Google or the forum search is your friend…?!
You can’t slave Cubase to MIDI clock.

I think (!) it might be possible, to send MIDI messages like note ons, to tab the tempo in realtime, but that really sync.

Correct, i had to change it in order to avoid silly simple posts. Obvisouly, i was knowing the sync panel and i wasn’t talking about MTC : this is the first thing every monkey in cubase would do first, clikcing on the MTC checkbox !
