Synchronize two different Cubases files

Hello, please help with the issues of synchronizing two separate Cubase instances files.

1. Setup

  1. Cubase 13 Pro laptop1
  2. Cubase 13 Elements laptop2

2. Scenarios

  1. Create Cubase files with Cubase 13 Pro laptop1 and use them also with Cubase 13 Elements laptop2
  2. Create Cubase files with Cubase 13 Elements laptop2 and use them also withCubase 13 Pro laptop1

3. Settings

  1. Which Cubase settings should be same or close enough to be able to apply scenarios 1-2?

4. Example

  1. When opening Cubase 13 Elements laptop2 Cubase file on Cubase 13 Pro laptop1, error message appears.

I’m assuming you move the Projects between the 2 rigs by copying the Project Folders.

This looks like the kind of errors you’d get if not all of the audio files used in the Project are located in the Project’s Audio Folder & are somewhere else instead. You can avoid this by using the Command Media>Prepare Archive… this will consolidate all the audio into the Folder before you copy/move the Project.
