Syncope in 4/4 doesn't as single note?

Is there an option for notating the orange quarter note in the photo as a single note, in 4/4? None of the options I tried do it. (But if I change to 2/2 it notates it correctly.)

Write the time signature as [2+2]/4

Just use Force Duration. With the note selected, press O (letter o, for Force Duration), then 5, then 6. (Make sure Insert mode is OFF!)
