Synthesizer V by Dream Tonix for Vocals - Status on Dynamics/Tempo via Dorico?

I was very excited by the recent demo of Synthesizer V until I learned that it doesn’t automatically pull tempo changes or dynamics from Dorico. I know there are workarounds, but they are quite cumbersome. Does anyone know if there are plans to integrate tempo changes and dynamics from Dorico, and if so, when?

Thanks!

Dynamics I rather doubt because to control the expressiveness and dynamics in SynthV, you need to use more than just the “loudness” control – others ,particularly “mouth opening” are very important for proper control of your voice(s) so it probably wouldn’t make much sense to support just one parameter.

As for tempo changes, these are all supported by MusicXML – except for gradual ones. if you have a lot of those, it may be worth exporting MIDI as well as MusicXML. The disadvantage of this method is that time signature changes won’t then be recorded so would have to be entered manually. Which method works best depends on the project. One or two gradual tempo changes can easily enough be calculated from the average of the accel. or rit. but with more, the MIDI + MusicXML is likely to be the best approach. Still, I can imagine that more robust import of tempi would certainly be likely to be something they’d like to do down the line.
