You can just manually create this as a shortcut. Open your user keycommands file in an editor, and add the following code to the kWriteMode context:
You may need to delete the default command from the kStepTimeInput context too:
Works fine for me in Write mode. This does sometimes seem to get overwritten with updates though, so just be aware of that.

You will have to add the line shown by Todd within the kWriteMode
context in the JSON file yourself. If you don’t have a keycommands_en.json
file in your user-level application data folder, first define a custom keyboard shortcut on the Key Commands page of Preferences.
Once you’ve edited the JSON file, I suggest you run it through a JSON linting tool online to make sure you haven’t introduced a syntax error before you try to run Dorico again.
