I have a monster PC (128 GB of RAM, AMD Ryzen 9). However, for a variety of reasons I would like to switch to a mac environment and use my PC as a VEPro server.
I am looking into one of the new Mac Minis, I know that VEPro only really works in Rosetta and I wanted to ask if anyone has experience using Dorico+VEPro in rosetta and what their outcomes were. I primarily use CSS/CSB/CSW in my big orchestra template.
Also, with that in mind, does anyone have a recommendation for how to handle Divisi and endpoint configurations within that environment? On my current set up I just have it so a Divisi will open up another Kontakt instance but I’m not sure how that would be handled in VEPro.
