System sound vs Cubase sound issue

Hello,

I have a pretty nasty problem and I dont know how to solve it.

My sound in cubase works just fine. I am using the Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver in Cubase. Now my problem is that when i minimize my cubase i dont have any system sound. I know that the option ‘release driver when application is in background’ solves that, but i want system and cubase sound at the same time. how is that possible?
Any advice is highly appreciated :smiley:

Are u using the same Freq. in Windows and Cubase ?

do you mean frequency by freq? I am not sure what you mean by that
