System text color with condensing

When I try to change the color for staff text or system text in a score that uses condensing, the color doesn’t show if the text appears above a condensed staff. Does anyone know if there is a workaround, to get the colors to appear?

This is for an analysis project, I would like to add analytical markings in different colors above an orchestra score. Thanks!

When condensing, the texts are probably technically represented by different objects. You can change their properties including color and frame in Engrave mode. So it’s possible to assign different text properties for condensed an uncondensed scores.

D’oh! Thank you, I forgot to check if this works in Engrave mode, and I’m happy to report that it does work!
