why is tab not working in order to jump between notes and articulations, after inserting a crescendo < or decrescendo > (I think its called hairpin?)?
You cannot in general tab between notes and their articulations (things like staccatos, tenutos, accents, and so on) because they are selected directly along with the notes themselves in Write mode. You should normally be able to use Tab to move the selection from a dynamic or other non-note item back to the note, but under some circumstances this doesn’t quite work at the moment. This is a known limitation at present, but it is something we do intend to address in future.
