Hello! I need the trill (4) to be played on open 2B string. Main note La# on 3G, and Ti on 2B (tablature is standard guitar tuning). But it only wants to be on the same string with the main note. Is there a way to separate them onto two different strings?
Hi @aw2 !
I didn’t find a regular possibility either, but if you are satisfied with written‑out notes, it can of course be accomplished. The tr symbol is written using regular text (Shift+X). I used a quintuplet, but this depends on your needs.
Could you use a tremolo rather than a trill?

Yes, writing it out goes out of the current requirement. Even if it’s allowed, I would have to rewrite all other trills in the music for consistency. But thank you so much for the suggestion and the short-cut! Cross string trill is very much a standard technique, I hope it will be a regular option soon…
That’s difficult…it has to be trill to follow the style of the original music.
Your suggestion left me with another idea. I could probably setup two separate players, one for standard music and another for TAB, then customize the TAB line by bracketing the 0 and adjusting size and layout, but that’s too much work!
