Table of Content with Hypertext in a Booklet

I made a booklet with the parts of the Bach suites I’m studying. Some with alternative fingerings and bowing. I filled the Project Info and made a Table of Contents Layout where I used that info to construct the content of that Table of contents.

Now I met with 22 parts and/or versions there is a lot to scroll in de pdf version on my iPad

Question is: Exists some kind of hypertext link for the TOC content? So I can directly show the part I wanted?

I’m afraid this needs to be added in a third party app that deals with PDFs and lets you add those links… I think this has already been requested, and it would be a perfectly valid request, if you ask me (a mere user)!

I agree with Marc, but since Dorico’s PDF output seems to rely on the QT engine (which restricts many great PDF features, like comments, notes, etc.), I don’t think we will see this anytime soon (if ever). I would mount it in external software that supports this instead. Exporting the text as CSV (a great(!) Dorico tool) helps a lot, and then it’s easy to do the rest in most software.

PS. This seems to be Dutch, not my main language… but (unless it’s Urtext) I’d suggest:

  • n-dash for intervals, 1685–1750
  • J. S. Bach
  • Cello Suites
  • sub.
  • Moderato
