Table of contents related -- token for first page of flow

Hi all,

am I right in assuming that {@flownfirstpage@} will not work in a table of contents like this, with musical snippets, How to Use Flow and Player Frame Filters to Create an Index Page | Page Layout in Dorico, because the referenced page will be the same as the snippet, not the one of the actual start of the flow?

If you use flow1firstpage, flow2firstpage, flow3firstpage… then those tokens apply to that number flow.

If you use flowfirstpage (without a number), then that refers to the current flow on the page.

Thanks, that is what I thought. However, I see now that this works only if the TOC is inserted before the flows, not when it is at the end.

TOC Before the flows:

TOC After the flows:

Do you know of a way around this other than typing the page numbers by hand?

I can’t replicate the problem. Your document looks correct. I also moved the text frames to below each music frame, but that didn’t change anything.

Just to be sure – even if you move the TOC page (by swapping) to make it end up after the flows, you still get the right page numbers?

I created a blank page at the end and added the tokens: I didn’t swap page 1 to the end.

Hm. I will have to try again.
This is what happens on my side (last page, deleting the music frame):

toc

Can you post the file with the problem?

That is the one I posted in the second message.

No, that one looks fine:

That’s really strange. I don’t know what to do then. For me it works when it is the first page, but not when it is the last.

I just can’t make this work. What could be wrong on my side?

I am using {@flow1title@} on p. {@flow1firstpage@}. In this screenshot, all is fine:

Swap the TOC page to the right:

Now the TOC page points to itself instead of to page 1.

One more step to the right:

Same result.
