talkback

I’m a long-time pro-user of Cubase and have recorded many albums using it as my DAW of choice.
But there are a couple of things that, as a recordist of mainly ensemble-performances, have irked for a while.
The first relates to cue sends (see other post); here’s the second.

talkback activation

I wonder how many others have encountered this problem…?
The default status of the talkback button in the Control Room is ‘latched-when-activated’. It’s frustrating, inconvenient and dangerous in use and the addition of a further button to toggle between latched and momentary modes would be an ideal improvement - either from the control-room screen of from within the Preferences settings.

How about it Mr Steinberg, can this included in a not-too-distant revision/update?

I may have lost a client yesterday due to the latching and not momentary issue for the Talkback button. Would still love a fix for this issue! I’m the biggest defender of Cubase in this PT city of Nashville but this really hurt me yesterday. Any help would be appreciated.
