Hello everyone,
I recently added some midi gear in my set up. From that moment on my Tascam, even when I have turned on MUTE on every channel in the TASCAM control panel, its sends signals through the ports. It’s visible in the (TASCAM)control panel and cubase. when I Mute tracks in Cubase or enable REC or Monitoring in the tracks, the functions/commands vary. What might be the problem? Should I try to change/Bring down the audio settings in Cubase? Anybody some advice?

Aren’t the tascam mutes and faders only for direct monitor…so they will still go into cubase when muted. Is this what you mean?

That tascam model doesn’t exist, don’t you mean the US 16x08 .
Of course… stupid 
When using the Mute, all Signals still go to Cubase. Strange thing is. That even when I mute there. Some Sounds keep popping up. I think it has something to do with an overload of audio signal.
