What is the best way to connect a TC Powercore Firewire to my MR816CSX?

I think you’re asking for trouble trying to do that. If you’re on a desktop machine I’d connect it to another port or get another PCIe FW card to connect it to,they’re not very expensive on EBay direct from the east.

Ah I’ve just seen you’re on an imac!!!

Thanks. The iMac has only one firewire port and the MR816 stays there…
