Technique Symbol Size: Weird Behavior (...Bug?)

I’m finishing up a project and think I found a few bugs or at least behavior that puzzled me, so I’m making a few separate topics since I highly doubt they’re related.

First, technique symbols keep resizing on me in this score. It’s for children, and I added a few glyphs for percussion - slapping vs. knocking something, for example. I’m having them roll their fingers and used grace notes a la percussion notation. However, almost every time I open the document, random glyphs have resized back to grace note size, even though I already changed all of them to full size (to avoid confusion). Is this a behavior I can turn off, or a bug?

You can see the ‘pluck with fingernail’ glyph here, and it’s at grace note size. However, the bottom panel shows that it’s “normal” size. When I turn the option off and on again, it becomes full sized, but keeps reverting as I work on the piece.

I’ve tried to reproduce the problem you describe, Jonathan, but I’ve been unable to do so. I created a percussion kit and input some grace notes followed by a rhythmic note, and added a playing technique to the grace note. When I override the Scale property to Normal and save, close, and reopen the project, the value is retained and the playing technique is sized as I would expect.

If you’re able to cut the project down to an affected passage that would allow us to reproduce the problem, I’d be happy to investigate further.

I’m trying to reproduce it too - can’t get it either. If it happens again, I’ll add it to this post in the forum.
