Template disappears from the Hub list

A project template no longer appears in the list of templates in the Hub when it is selected from the list of existing templates and overwritten.

It only reappears in the list when it is saved again after the name has been explicitly entered in the “New Preset” input field at the bottom of the pop-up “Save as Template”.

This is a known issue. It started for me in Cubase 14.

From the Hub, did you try opening Media Bay, find your user templates folder, then do a re-scan? Once the re-scan is complete, did it show up on the Hub?

Yes, a (quick) disk scan of the template folder in the mediabay will restore the entry in the hub. I didn’t observe this behavior in C14.

The Windows over-write issue is known.

There was another issue regarding certain templates not showing up, but i believe it was fixed.

And, even anither issue that for me started with Cubase 15. Once the Hub opens, the user template does not show up. Wait long enough, and it will appear. Long enough meaning maybe 15 seconds.

From the hub, you can open Media Bay and observe the auto scan in progress. Once the auto scan gets to user template folder, close Media Bay and notice the template now appears.

Hi,

Are you all on Windows, right? I am unable to replicate the issue on my end on a Mac.

Hi,

Link to other reports:

I think this has something to do with renaming too. A template renamed in Win 11 Explorer, will appear in the Hub (when opened simulrtaneously), then it can vanish again on reboot of Cubase 15. The rescan solution mentioned above is working here right now .

Tried do that but it is not fixed! I have Cubase 14 installed and there Templates showing. it’s not working on Cubase 15 Pro only.
