After some really necessary Houskeeping. I have an issue with Cubase 15 failing to see some of my older templates in teh Hob View. Win 11 PC.
For example I have a folder which I call “Master Audition” its simply now showing when Cubase 15 loads the hub. I can see the template, in correct user folder.
I have about 17 templates whic do show in the hub. If I r/click on any one of them, and “show in explorer” Inside the folder which correctly opens I can see Master Audition CPR. Yet it does dont load?? Strange.
I can even click on the Master Edition Template. Load it into Cubase 15, it opens, then go Save as Template and saves correctly. Yet when I reload Cubase 15 I still cannot see it in the hub, even though it is there, in the correct directory if viewed via windows explorer! There are a further 20 or so templates behaving this way. Even after a complete restart?
I will try the above thank you gents. I thought I found a work around. (wrong).
The file I mentioned above, I called Master Audition Template. So I tried (in Win Explorer) renaming it just “Master Audition”. As soon as I did this in Win 11 Explorer, it popped up in Cubase’s hub (which I had open too). So, it’s something about Cubase insisting, in error, on a rename before it likes some older templates .
Edit: “Rescan”, I presume you mean Update Results (top right)? I selected all the files hit this button and at first it did not help, but after a couple of Cbase 15 restarts they there! .
Find any template that you say is missing in the hub. In Media Bay they should all be located in your User folder.
Once you find a file, right click it. After right click on file, there are 2 re-scan options to choose from. I dont think it matters which option. Do that then check your Hub.
