I’ve got a 1st page template set up with 2 frames/boxes that aren’t showing up. Any ideas?
Already tried:
-removing overrides
-re-importing the template
-L-R/R-L
-toggling Layout Page options for headers
-top justifications on properties panel
-banging my head firmly against the nearest wall (tried this one repeatedly)
-calling out in my sleep for Finale to come back and tell me it will all be ok
-19 different GPT prompts
Welcome to the forum @descomike. In the picture of your template, the left and right pages are not the same. The first page is always a right page. Also, you have a page template change on the first page.
To avoid the need of using a page template change on Page 1, set this Layout option, for the desired Layouts (if this is already set, then you can remove the page template change, right clicking on the icon of the page 1, in Engrave mode right upper panel):
Brilliant! Thanks, @jesele. The thing that stumped me was that the same template has been working on the first page of other flows, but now it makes sense given the explanation from @Christian_R. I must have missed the explanation of left/right pages in the tutorial.
The page template change was me removing the original and re-loading the template to try and force the update. Obv, that wasn’t the issue (ha).
