Templates & Printing/Exporting

Hi,

I’m trying to make a project template that keeps my preferred print settings (Graphics, TIFF, resolution 600). From what I’ve read it should be able to do this but when I try, the template always reverts back to the out of the box settings (Printer, PDF).

Anyone know what I’m doing wrong or is it indeed not possible? Just trying to speed up my work flow. I realise it’s just a few mouse clicks, but when you’re doing it over and over and….

The print settings are saved per Layout, so if you’ve set them up in a given layout, then it should retain them for that layout. Let us know if that’s not happening.

PS. I’d recommend saving as vector graphics, e.g. as a PDF, for best quality. 600dpi bitmaps will show lots of artefacts, like “stepped” hairpins.
