My temple block playback only plays a flute sound of the note B and doesn’t change the pitch no matter which line I put my note on. How do I fix it? I’ve attached a photo
A photo isn’t really a help with a playback issue.
Can you attach an empty project where this happens? We can investigate your playback setup.
Before this, do Play > Playback Template and reapply it. That may solve the problem.
Thank you so much for your message! I tried reapplying playback template but it didn’t work:( Here’s the Dorico file

I’m not sure why this isn’t working, but I’ve seen this kind of problem before. I think re-applying the NotePerformer playback template really will solve the problem.
What position in the score is the temple blick staff (e.g., 1st, 10th)? I have had a similar issue wirh whichever instrument is first in the score.
Isn’t temple blocks a new addition in NotePerformer 5?
Do you have that version @Sophia_Dou_Composer ?

Thank you so much for the info just updated to np5 and it worked!
