I’m not able to get the Temple Block staff to look correct. It should just say Temple Block, not Temple Block I, II, etc. This is a second instrument for a player, and I’m not sure how to make the staff label say the instrument without all the added stuff. How do I get the instrument label on the score to say Temple Blocks and be a normal size staff?
Use player’s name instead of staff labels. Library→Layout Options→Staves and Systems. Or put them in a group in the percussion kit editor.

The grouping thing in the Percussion kit worked for the staff label. Do you know of a way to make the staff be the same size as the other five-line staves?
If that’s what you want, it’s even simpler. Library→Layout Options→Players→Percussion and select 5-line staff. Then you could have skipped the grouping. You could also change the gap to 1 on every temple block in the percussion editor under the grid tab if you want to keep the grid view for some reason.
