Hello everyone. I’m finishing up a 1-act opera and I’d prefer having my various stage directions (which I’ve created as just regular text) above everything including tempi. But right now tempi is always above text. I’ve searched and found that people use offsets/etc, but is there not a global setting to just have text above tempi? I’d prefer not to have to manually move both the tempi down and text markings up each time this happens. I’m sure there’s something I’m missing, so thanks for your help!
I’ve not yet tried this in Dorico but you could try to have a 0-line staff at the top and write stage instructions there.

Use a Paragraph Style for the Text which has a larger value for distance from staff?
