Perhaps I am doing something wrong here. But exporting a cubase project into VST live should also export the tempo and time signatures right? I tried this before with Elements 12 last year and it worked. I made an arrange track, lyrics in the midi track which exported fine (though I still need to manually assign the parts to the correct places) but today on Elements 13, nada. Opening song tempo was there but that was it. I have tried again just in case I missed something and noticed Tempo Map was missing from the export to VST Live as an option. Maybe it’s because of I am using Elements 13? It was there on the trial of Elements 12, by the time that expired 13 was released.
you are using “Cubase Elements 13”. And you want to export your Cubase project to VST Live. Hm, I’ve checked “Cubase Elements 13”. It does not support a Tempo or Signature Track …
… so it will not possible to export those tracks to VST Live.
See you,
Michael.
Ahhh that’s a bit of a bummer. I only got Cubase for that reason (to make exporting into VST live more streamlined)
So I guess I’d have to upgrade to the full version of Cubase 13?
… here you’ll find a comparison between Elements, Artist and Pro.
