Tempo detection.. Greyed out. Why?

Why is the 'Tempo detection greyed out and un-selectable on an audio file?
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Make sure, you have selected an Audio Event, not an Audio Part, please.

Also make sure the Audio Event is not in the Musical Mode, please.
