I’ve moved over from Finale. Here’s an example. I’m curious how to do that tempo equation. How do I do this in Dorico?
Click at the note where you want to put the tempo equation to select it. Then Shift+T to engage the tempo popover and type q=q. Popover input method is a treasure of Dorico. It will enhance your input efficiency greatly. It’s absolute worth checking out how to make best use of it!
Ha! It took me moment to realize that the period was not just the end of a sentence but also the way to notate a dotted quarter note. I was trying “dq” and “dqn” Finally figured it out and then re-read your answer. Thanks!
It’s like those math riddles where they say, “The answer is 5!”
