Tempo marking with tempo equation

Is there a way to include what Dorico calls a “tempo equation” in a verbal tempo change? Here, for example, is Brahms Op 116 No 2:

  • If I enter the tempo text as Non troppo presto (q=q.), then Dorico discards the text and shows only the equation.
  • If I enter the text and the equation as separate tempo items, Dorico refuses to allow both at the same metronomic position.

Assuming Dorico simply doesn’t support this, I can fake it by either entering the equation as custom text, or by attaching the equation to another rhythmic position and then repositioning it in engrave mode (ah, shades of Sibelius!). But thought I’d check if there’s a better way.

No, this is not yet natively supported in the tempo popover.
