Hello, I can’t write a doted note tempo mark. ex. q.=100. When I type it, the result is square box is appeared. Please help me~
Hi @suguncpm and welcome to the Forum.
You probably have the Metronome mark shown Property deactivated, so you are seeing the tempo as signpost (is hidden).
Activate it and the Metronome mark will be visible again:
Tip: to easily select the signpost, as it is quite near and overlaps the System Track (the grey bar with bar numbers), you can deactivate the visibility of the System Track, from the menu View.

Do you mean that the note value in the tempo mark appears as a box, rather than as a note? If so, perhaps you have a font problem – check what font is chosen for the Metronome mark music text font font style in Library > Font Styles.

Thank you so much! Yes, it was the font problem. When I changed ‘Metronome mark music text font’ originally, it was fixed. Now a note appears. Thanks again~
