Tempo marks score vs. parts

Hi everyone!
I’m working on a flow that has lots of tempo changes. The conductor wants to be able to see all of them, but the musicians only want the most important ones on their parts. I was expecting that the workaround would be selecting all the tempos I desire to hide on the parts and unchecking the “Metronome mark shown” on the Local Properties panel, but if I do so, the tempo marks also disappear from the score.

Am I doing anything wrong? How should I accomplish this?

It looks like Tempos don’t have local properties.

There is a Layout Option to show or hide Metronome marks in a given layout (leaving the text instruction still visible); but that affects all marks.

Well, I guess the first thing to do is identify the “non-important” tempo marks!

If you used System-attached text instead of tempo marks, then you can hide those Locally in a given layout.
