Tempo missing note value

I recently update to macOS Sonoma 14.2. I am using Dorico 5.0.2.

After the update, I am seeing that a tempo in a project does not show the note value in tempo. This example should be ‘Allegro Feroce h = 120’. Prior to the OS update I DID see the note value.

I have restarted my computer, and that did not seem to help. Has any else ran into this issue?

Just in case the OS update has upset anything, it might be worth checking in Library > Font Styles to see what is selected for Metronome Music Text Font. Bravura Text is the default. If you want a different font, try Bravura Text first to see if that works, than change it to what you want.

Odd… the font was set to Academico. I never changed it. Not sure how it changed.

Thank you for the tip. I changed it to Bravura Text, and it works as it’s supposed to.

There are lots of cases of this exact problem, I don’t know what has happened with Font styles in 5.0.2… I hope it’s all settled in 5.1
