"Tempo out of range" - Tempo via MIDI tapping

Hi, I’m trying to create a Tempo Track for a drum recording [3/4 beat at 70 BPM with small variations between 66 and 74bpm]
by Setting up a Tempo Track from Tapping in notes via MIDI keyboard as described in the users manual page 869

I follow all these steps but always get the same result, a pop-up that tells me “Tempo out of range”

since the tempovariations are small I cant believe this is the case

What am I doing wrong? There is no clue in the manual.

Hi,

Make sure you are tapping 1/4 notes, not 1/8, or other length, please.
