Tempo track will not allow sliding the data

I used Tempo Detection to try to capture the tempo of a MIDI event. I need to slide all of my tracks along with the tempo to another bar, but the tempo data I cannot slide. I am guessing that the nodes at the beginning and end of the data (way off to the right past all my stuff) might be preventing this, acting as data points which Cubase cannot move beyond the extent of the project?

How do I get the tempo data to slide?

Have you tried cutting or pasting time?

No. In this case I want the tempo data to move with the clip. I can try cutting the clip and the tempo data together (if possible) and pasting it somewhere else.

  1. Select both the clip and any Tempo data that occurs during the clip
  2. Use Edit>Group to group them together
  3. Now when you drag the clip the Tempo Data should follow along

Thanks. I’ll look into that. But my problem was that the tempo data would not slide at all. I could select the data, but nothing would move it.

Well that is odd. Could you post some screenshots or even better an animated gif showing what’s happening.

FYI, on a PC I use ScreenToGif.
