I am trying to remove a tempo from the inspector window. I click on the track and can edit, but not remove or delete position. thoughts anyone??

You are right, you cannot delete the event here.
What is even more weird, if you select the event in the Tempo Track, then select any (other) event in the Inspector Tempo and press Delete, the one which is selected in the project becomes deleted. So the selection is taken from the Project window.
It’s like this since ever.
