Terrible trouble with reactivation code

Using 3.5, got a new computer, copied files over. Dorico requires a reactivation code to start up. I installed the most recent version of the Elicenser control center, and followed all help directions to reactivate several times, but I can’t get a new registration number on the Elicenser.

What am I missing?

Have you watched the tutorial video on this support page?
It shows a walk through the whole process of reactivation.

omg somehow I reactivated it, but I don’t really know what I did. Anyway it is working yay.
