TestGenerator Sine Wave produces harmonics

Here’s a “vintage” issue that has been around since the TestGenerator was introduced in Cubase 4. This makes the sine wave produced by this plugin unsuitable for certain tests.

the info I received:

The harmonics come from a linear interpolation inside the algorithm and that was done to save performance.
Nowadays it is not necessary anymore. So, this is a good reason to update the algo for a future release.
