Text artifact appearing in Print view only

This is a new one for me…These are definitely the same layout. The first one is Print mode, Graphics destination. The second one is Engrave mode.

Of course, this post had added value for me. The parts should not read (11x17)! Text tokens to the rescue.

I’m not seeing it – what artifact are you referring to?

Are you meaning it is this that is showing in Print preview? and on export?

Yes, sorry I didn’t make that clearer. It only shows in this part, none others and is still there in the exported PDF.

That’s strange. Are you able to upload part of it which exhibits this behavior so someone here can take a look?

Do you have any of these checked? Or do you have the {@layouttransposition@}
Token anywhere?

Jesper

Since the artifact – which looks like it should be on a score, since it’s the end of the word “transposed,” although in this project, the word transposed is followed by “score!” – is not visible in Write or Engrave modes, I can’t select it to bring up anything in the Properties panel. There are no tokens visible that shouldn’t be there, either. ..

There is a token for showing Concert or Transposed, so it’s almost certainly that.

How do I find it, though? All text frames are accounted for (and besides which, I didn’t use this exact token in the project.)

Interesting. When I exported the flute part and selected only the first flow (to keep the size of the file down), the artifact does not appear in the Print view. (BTW, I had to send the PDFs for printing today, so I whited out the errant print in the PDF. Would still love to know what happened!)
