[text-1] If i enter the marked part as lyrics, a curve will appear, but if i enter it as regular text, no curve will appear. How should I resolve this?

When using Shift-X to enter text, you can enter the unicode symbol 203F the elision character ‿. On Windows type those numbers then press Alt-X. (Some keyboard configs require you to use the left Alt key). Of you can cut & paste from an external document.

On Windows, press and hold Alt, and type 8255 on the numpad.

When I press Alt and type 8255, a question mark appears.

Indeed, it works on MS Word on my end, but not in Dorico… While plenty of other Alt+ codes work. Try to copy/paste this: ‿

It’s too long, but if I reduce the size, the area of the curve becomes too small.

Have you tried reducing the font size?

It looks a little different from the lyrics pop-up. The lyrics entered in the pop-up window are slightly different from those entered with Shift x and set as lyrics.
