Is there a way to automate a line extension for a performance indication? In the properties panel I can only get the line text to appear above, below, or within the line, not in front of it. In the example below, the s.p. indication in m. 194 is what I want to do but I closest I can get is the m.v. indication in the following measure.
With these properties I get the text at the beginning:
But if these indications occur frequently, you could also create Playing Techniques with a dashed duration line:

@charles_piano shows how to change the properties on one line. If you want a reusable line, you can create a new line annotation in the text category:
And then set that as the Start cap for your line.
Result:
(Or you could use @charles_piano’s method on one instance of a line and then copy/paste or Alt+click it as needed.)
