Text "MetaTool"

I apologize for using a Finale vocab. word here but I don’t know what else to call what I am trying to do. The Finale equivalent of what I am trying to set is is “Metatool”.
Is it possible to set up a text (in this case, I want to add “sempre legato” in italics to 15 or 20 staves but not every staff) which I can turn into a shortcut of some type? It is time consuming to input “Sempre Legato” to 20 staves individually using the text tool. I can’t find the word “sempre” in any of the regular style menus. I tried to find how I could do this in Dorico Help but “text Frames” takes me to an entirely different aspect than I need here. I feel there is a way to quickly add these words to various staves rather than typing each one in individually.
Any help appreciated.

What you can do in Dorico is enter the Staff Text once, and then copy and paste the object to the other staves where you want it.

Dorico also lets you duplicate almost anything with Alt+Click – select the staff text, and then Alt+Click on the other places where you want it to appear.

I highly recommend create a key shortcut for “Duplicate to Staff Above” and Below.

That way, you can enter the text once and then copy it (like Alt down for Expressions in Finale??) quickly.

If you created “sempre legato” as a Playing Technique (which would be useful, if you want it to affect audio playback); then you could set a popover command for the technique, which you could apply in one go to several selected staves all at once.
