Text only page can't display text tokens

it looks like a bug:

  • add empty page
  • create a text frame
  • type “{@flowTitle@}”
  • exit frame

the token won’t work, unless you add a music frame.

also, the manual says: “Text frames allow you to enter text or to choose text from a number of tokens”
how can you choose tokens?

I think the reason it “doesn’t work” is that Dorico doesn’t know which flow to associate with the page, if there is no music on the page.

FWIW “{@projectTitle@}” works on a page containing just a text box.

The “tokens” are just the things like “{@flowTitle@}”. There is a full list here: Tokens - Dorico - Steinberg Forums

You can set up the text for each flow with File/Project Info. It’s fairly obvious which field in the Project Info corresponds to each token.
