Please see the screen shot. I would like the word “throughout” to appear beside the 8th note=8th note symbol only at the top of the score but also on each part. I do not want that word on each line of the score. Not sure which tool to use to accomplish this.

It looks like you want to use system attached text (alt+shift+X) for this. You might want to input the 8th=8th as system attached text too, using Metrico or MusGlyphs

Do you happen to know what the substitute key on the Mac is for Alt? It may be Option but I am not sure.

sorry, it’s option. And I’m on Mac… I think one of my previous macbook pros had alt on its keyboard.
