Hi, I would like to use a text which has a frame. But the frame should be open a them bottom of the box. Is that possible?
Right now I only found the possibility to do a normal rectangle, rectangle with rounded corners, a circle and a rectangle with rounded corners.
Cheers, Steffen
I do not think it is natively possible.
You could try to create it with a full frame, then create another text frame with white background colour and text colour, then move it to cover the bottom side of the top square.

Hi @steffenweber , here a file example inspired by the suggestion of @MicheleGalvagno:
- the main text has a border
- the second “text” has a (newly created) Paragraph Style with white background (to be found in PS menu with the name cgr default text with white background) and consists only of a line of empty spaces, then moved to the appropriate place in Engrave mode:
Dorico file:
bottomless border.dorico (534.8 KB)

Thank you for the info. This workaround is working for sure.
I was hoping to find a native solution which is more flexible and
able to do what you see in the screenshot.
