TGuitar – unrealistic chord shapes

Hello! I’ve been using TGuitar and I generally like it, but at least one thing annoys me a lot. In Chords mode in some chords not all of the strings play realistic notes.

For instance, if a play D major on guitar in open position, the notes would be:
1st string F#
2nd string D
3rd string A
4th string D
5th string A
6th string F#

This chord shape is very recognizable and sounds very “guitaristic”, so to say.

But when I play D chord with TGuitar, it goes like this:

1st string F#
2nd string D
3rd string A
4th string D
5th string D (identical to 4th string)
6th string D (identical to 4th string)

Three strings all play the same note! Apart from the fact there’s no way to finger this in normal stringing and tuning, it sounds rather weak and unnatural! This happens with many other chords too. Is there any chance this will be fixed?

I can see the logic behind the decision to program things this way – apparently the developers wanted the lowest note of a chord to be the root of that chord. But I think it doesn’t make much sense, because in order to recreate guitar sounds truthfully, one has to use correct chord shapes! @acousticsamples, please fix this.

Too bad there hasn’t any reaction to this, @acousticsamples.
