Thank you for Cubase 15 - Great program - BUT

I just wanted to say I am of the group of users that love this update, paid user for Halion and cubase since C6 and im prouder than ever to be a Cubase user, Love the sequencer, Omnivocal is so great, Undo last change is a god send I never thought to ask for even, the drum kits with the midi patterns are so inspiring, swapping drums and getting som great grooves from the included midi, Stem separation is pretty good if you stick to vocal extraction…

so thank you! I know every iterance brings complaints, I have just one small and humble request..

Why do I need three programs to install every time? the UE is awful, to this day I haven’t been able to get retrologue to work, I lost padshop randomly last year and ive redownloaded it 3 times to no avail, there HAS to be a better way fellas….

with all due respect, I know some of it is my fault because of multiple drives, but im an average user, kindly look into this, its a bad first impression for your future clients

I think the title of this topic could have been better, but I do agree.

The best way is to combine those several programs into one. Just like the gaming client Steam. You don’t need three or more programs to install one game. You have different tabs in one client.

Just make one Steinberg Manager with several tabs like My Products (are they downloaded or not, are they activated or not, are they updated to the latest version or not) and Store. And instead of suggesting to “download again”, which doesn’t make any sense, just show me if I need an update or not.

Stop this confusing mess. People just want to make music - not get headache about which buttons to press.

And also, make it high DPI friendly. I am tired of switching my entire DPI of Windows to 100%, just to be able to see the interface of the Download Manager. If Cubase can handle high DPI, then why can’t Download Manager do it.
