Thank you, Dorico team, for “Propagate Part Formatting”!
One of the most tedious tasks of chart prep for me over the years has been working out the best formatting for a part and reproducing it in other similar parts.
No matter how well a notation app might be designed, I suspect there will always be situations where I want or need to override default formatting. That’s the case with Dorico - and just to be clear, this is not in any way a complaint. I just don’t think there’s a “one size fits all” when it comes to this kind of thing.
So I’m delighted with "Propagate Part Formatting’. It’s going to save me a considerable amount of time.
