Thanks to Everyone + Show Video

Hi All,

We played a gig last weekend that we sold at a charity auction. Show was at a ranch and we powered our rig with multiple generators. It was the first run for my lighting truss that I built, and, while I have some takeaways on that (we need to light the front of the band better and probably change the moving head lights), I was able to run the whole lighting show by sending midi signals to a Wolfmix lighting console. Also was able to use a bluetooth midi pedal to control our guitarist’s punch in for solos. Happy to report that we did not have a single issue with Live 2 during the show or anything leading up to it. The latest builds have been very stable for me, so thanks to the team. I was running 128 samples (the players get a mix right off the board for no latency but I hear the mix as processed when I drum) and had 80+ plugins running live over all of the channels (11 drum inputs alone) through my M3 Max laptop including several instances of some very CPU intensive plugins like Waves CLA Epic reverb. We recorded the show off the board and I’ve now done a mix and loose master of Comfortably Numb, which you can check out here:

Just wanted to thank everyone for putting up with my questions and concerns for the last year or so. I have some additional thoughts for changes that would make my use case easier but I’ll post those in a different thread. Anyhow, thanks again and have a great weekend!

Thanks a lot for sharing, very impressive!
You could automate a Send to an echo for the relevant vocal parts

What marvellous things we can do now with modern computing power, hardware, and this piece of software!!! We are approaching professional productions capabilites as amateurs … unthinkable just 5-10 Years ago!

Bravo !!!

Ciro!

Yes, it is very cool. Can’t wait to see where this goes as the software matures and hardware gets even faster. The processing I’m able to do on drums at this point is unbelievable compared to what could be done 10 years ago (and then I was having to use a large rack mounted computer that was water cooled…). Cheers!
