Hi
Received Cubase 6 from 4/5 today for my XP PC, had the dreaded “fail to initialize”.

Did a search in the forum and found the thread for the problem.

Installed netframe 3.5, worked a treat.

Also worked for me. Sincere thanks, I’ve been fighting this for days and now CB 6 works on my XP machine.

If you unpack the installation files on a W7 system and transfer, you can run 6.5.5 on XP. Though not supported by Steinberg.
