The 8.5 upgrade - A rock and a hard place...

Hello all,

I’ve been using Cubase 8 very happily for several months having upgraded from older software. My one issue was the metronome count base was not working, it used to work fine on SX3 (my last Cubase version!) but now, on this swanky new software, I couldn’t work in 12/8 with a dotted-crotchet metronome without programming one in. It was annoying, but I could live with it.

Now, 8.5, the count base works! However, the once solid Cubase crashes, today, 5 times.

So what to do? Go back to 8 for a solid software but broken metronome, or stay in 8.5 and risk crashes?

And how are either of these things acceptable in commercial software? I know there are many complaints more detailed than mine, but these two things seem paramount and pretty basic…

Just ranting a little is all…
