The editors used to have Esc/Enter for a dual way to get back to the project window

So what was the point with that?
Let’s say you edited something in the Key Editor and you were happy with that. Then you hit Enter and you’re back in the project window, just as nowadays.
BUT
Let’s say you edited something in the Key Editor and you have lost your way in the middle of the battle with the notes, and you didn’t know for how long you’ve been poking around. Then you hit Esc instead and everything was back to as it were when you opened the editor. I think it worked in all editors?
It’s like an extra layer of undo and all changes were reset in one fell swoop. It was such a simple and awesome feature I reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaally want back!
